Company history
Today’s Mediatoring brings together two stories: the Ostrava-based agency PRONETmedia, active since 2001, and the Prague start-up Mediatoring.com, which ran a media monitoring service from 2016. In 2018 the two lines came together under one management.
We started as PRONETmedia
Michal Kubíček started his business with Jiří Zerzoň, his classmate from the conservatory and later from university, under the PRONETmedia brand – at the time a marketing and media agency and web studio. They then bought AIMES, a long-established Ostrava advertising and DTP studio that had been operating in the field since 1995.
PRONETmedia, s.r.o. is founded
The business moved into the newly founded company PRONETmedia, s.r.o., which Michal Kubíček took over in full in 2004. The agency built websites and e-shops, did SEO, PPC campaigns, PR and graphic design, and helped foreign companies enter the Czech, Slovak and Polish markets. Over time it expanded into further areas, including its own e-shops. From 2009 it was based at Nádražní 385/34, today the registered office of Mediatoring.com.
Mediatoring.com is founded in Prague
Independently of PRONETmedia, Mediatoring.com s.r.o. was founded in Prague on 1 April 2016. It was established by the digital agency Visualio, and its first product was real-time media monitoring. The service scanned some 11,000 Czech news websites, blogs and discussion forums and also tracked television and radio broadcasts.
Merger with PRONETmedia and move to Ostrava
In March 2018 the company was acquired by the Ostrava-based Abudancia s.r.o. Michal Kubíček, who has been working in online media and internet marketing since 1999, became CEO and managing director, and the registered office moved to Ostrava. The change in leadership was covered by the business daily Hospodářské noviny and the industry news site Mediář. In the same year Michal Kubíček sold PRONETmedia and its activities were split into separate entities. Mediatoring took over marketing, web and app development and artificial intelligence, while the e-shops moved to a separate company, PNM International s.r.o.
Sale of media monitoring and transformation
The company sold its media monitoring business and went through a transformation. It took over the assets and clients of PRONETmedia, s.r.o., a well-known Ostrava agency and web studio. It no longer provides media monitoring and focuses fully on online marketing, SEO, artificial intelligence and development.
A digital and technology AI agency
We help companies and institutions with SEO, optimisation for AI search engines and language models, online marketing and PR, AI adoption, and web and app development. The company also operates the Webklient.cz, Kubicek.AI and AIEDU.cz brands, among others.

What is the relationship between Mediatoring and the PRONETmedia agency?
Mediatoring continues the agency side of PRONETmedia. When Michal Kubíček sold PRONETmedia in 2018, Mediatoring took over marketing, web and app development and AI. The e-shops moved to a separate company, PNM International s.r.o.
Does PRONETmedia still exist?
Not as an agency. After the sale in 2018, the company with the ID number (IČO) 26797542 changed both its name and owner and now operates in a different field. The services of the PRONETmedia agency are now provided by Mediatoring.com.
Does Mediatoring provide media monitoring?
No. The company sold its media monitoring business in 2022 and now focuses on online marketing, SEO, AI optimisation and web and app development.
